This tour was researched on site during two years of travel to give you the best ecological tour of China in the remote mountains of Sichuan province inhabited by Tibetan people. Only in the last 5 years have they had hard surfaced roads to be able to penetrate the mountains reaching over 15,000 feet passes into the plateaus of 10,000 feet. We start you out in Beijing and Xian before going to Chengdu and into the lower mountains, home of the famous pandas. You will visit Hailougou National Park and go up into the snows by cable car across a glacier if you like one morning and come down and bathe in a natural hot springs in the afternoon. This is a tour for people who enjoy nature, mountains and rare glimpse of people who seldom see outsiders… yet have t.v. by satellite in their homes and electricity provided by solar energy. 5-Day Bamboo Sea National Park Tour Extension

The Bamboo Sea National Park ecological tour takes you into Sichuan province to the largest Bamboo forest in China. You will see all of the birds, insects and many plants and Bamboo in their natural habitat. Visiting a UNESCO village and the Largest Buddha in the World carved into a cliff at Leshan, is just part of the tour. Also included is Zigong where there is a large dinosaur museum assembled from one of the largest archeological sites in China.

While you are touring the Bamboo National Park, you will be staying at the luxurious 5 Star Eden Resort with the largest indoor spa in south central China.
