The Mosuo people who live there have what they call a “Walking Marriage” in which the couple have no formal commitment and the society is governed by a Matriarch. You experience this society first hand while enjoying their beautiful remote Kingdom with modern facilities available in hotels and guest houses around the lake shores. You will enjoy their ceremonial dances and music displayed each evening as well as viewing their daily life up close and personal.
