11 DAY CHINA TOUR & YANGTZE CRUISE 2006

Day 1 Depart your country

2 Arrive Shanghai – Met by local guide and transferred to your hotel.

3 Shanghai – Guide will take you to the Yu Garden, Jade Buddha Temple

and a walk on the Bund. After dinner you will attend the world famous
Shanghai Acrobats Show. BLD

4 Shanghai/Chongqing by afternoon air. In the morning you will go to the

Shanghai National Museum. After lunch you will transfer to the airport

for your flight to Chongqing. You will be met by the local guide and

taken to the Yangtze River Museum before dinner. After dinner you will

transfer to the Victoria Cruise dock for boarding. BLD

5 Yangtze River Cruise – Details in brochure. BLD

6 Yangtze River Cruise – Sail through the Qutang and Wu Gorges. In

the afternoon you will take an excursion up the Daning River or

Shennong Stream Go through the new 3 Gorges Dam Locks. BLD

7 Yi Chang/Beijing. Bus will take you to the Three Gorges Dam

Site for a visit before lunch. After lunch you will be met

by a local agent and transferred to the airport for your flight to

Beijing. Met in Beijing by the local guide and transferred to your

central area hotel. BLD

8 Beijing – Guide will take you to Tiananmen Square, The Forbidden City,

and a walking tour of the Hutongs with a family visit, and the Temple

of Heaven. BL Dinner on your own this evening.

9 Beijing – Guide will take you to the Great Wall at MuTianYu with cable

car in both directions included. Stop at the Lama Temple on the way

back to the city. BL dinner on your own this evening.

10 Beijing – Free Day on your own to explore the city or do some last

minute shopping. (We will furnish you with a city map and some

suggestions for shopping or sight seeing on your own). B only.

11 Beijing/Home – Guide will transfer you to the airport for your flight

home today. B only.

Included: All domestic transportation, First Class hotels, boat cruise and off boat excursions, meals as indicated, English speaking guides with drivers, airport transfers, and sightseeing as listed.
