DAY 1 Depart your home city.
2 Arrive Beijing – Met by guide and transferred to your hotel.
3 Beijing – Guide will take you to the Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square and
a family visit in the Old Hutongs Neighborhood and lunch. BLD
4 Beijing –Visit the Lama Temple and Temple of Heaven and the Summer Palace.
BL Dinner on your own tonight.
5 Beijing – Guide will take you to the Great Wall at Mutianyu with cable car included
both ways. Stop at the Xiu-Xiu market. Special Peking Duck Dinner tonight. BLD
6 Beijing/Xian by a.m. air. Met by Guide and taken to visit the Wild Goose Pagoda,
Ancient City Wall, and the Big Bell Tower. Transfer to Hotel. BLD
7 Xian – Full day tour to Terra Cotta Warriors site, Banpo Museum, and the Hua Qing
Pools Winter Palace of the Tang Dynasty. Tang Dynasty Dinner and Show this
evening. BLD.
8 Xian./Guilin by morning air. Guide will meet you and take you to the 7 Star Park,
and Reed Flute Cave. Transfer to your hotel. BLD
9 Fantastic Li River Cruise today down to the village of Yangshuo and transfer to your
village hotel. Special welcoming dinner tonight at one of the many quaint restaurants.

10 Yangshuo – Free day to explore this wonderful quaint village in the countryside. Great
place to go biking, shopping or just enjoy rural China life. B only.
11 Yangshuo/Guilin/Shanghai – Guide will take you to Guilin for your evening flight to
Shanghai. In Shanghai you will be met by the local guide and transferred to your central
area hotel. B only.
12 Shanghai – Guide will take you to the Bund, Yu Garden in the old district before
lunch. After lunch you will visit the Shanghai National Museum. After an early dinner
you will be entertained by the famous Shanghai Acrobats. BLD
13 Shanghai/Suzhou by van. Visit the famous Humble Administrators Garden, Silk
factory and Fashion Show before lunch. After lunch you will go to the Tiger Hill
Park, a short ride on the Grand Canal and the Lingering Gardens before dinner. Transfer
to your central area hotel. BLD
14 Suzhou/Jin Xi/Suzhou. Guide will take you to the lakes area to visit Jinxi a small
town once used by Shanghai Officials for summer homes. Great Shopping and
scenery here amongst the trees and canals. Return to Suzhou in the evening. BLD
15 Suzhou/Shanghai Pudong Airport and Home. B only.
