Mulun Nature Reserve - Guilin Area

Day  1  Guilin/Huanjiang - During the morning we will explore birds along the Li

            River at Guilin.  After lunch we will drive to Huanjiang county and transfer

            to our hotel.  LD

      2    Huanjiang - We will drive to the Qiangui ancient trail in the center of the

            Mulun Nature Reserve very early in the morning.  We will explore along this

            trail the whole day with lunch at a small grassland area in the reserve.  This

            area is also known for the exotic large butterflies that gather near the ponds.

            Enjoy a special Qian fish dinner in a village before we drive back to

            Huanjiang after sunset.  BLD

      3    Huanjiang/Guilin - Explore the riverside of Huanjiang in the morning for over

            44 species of birds that are known in this area.  If time permits we will stop in

            the Yaoshan area before heading back to Guilin.  Transfer to our hotel in

            Guilin.  BLD

Best time for Birding in this area is April to July for over 44 species of birds.   This tour may

be an extension added on to your other tour itinerary and/or connected to any of the other

birding tour segments too. 

Included:  Hotels, meals and local transportation.  All tickets required, English speaking

Birding expert or Ornithologist from the area will be accompanying you.
